Will Castillo

Hello and welcome—my name is Guillermo Castillo, but everyone calls me Will.

I was born in Colombia and raised in Queens, New York. Growing up, opportunities were limited, but I chose to follow my heart and serve my country in the U.S. military. My service exposed me to the realities of combat and the challenges that come with it. I lost two of my closest friends, I lost a leg, and for a time, I lost myself.

After my injury, I spent two years at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, training at their world-class amputee clinic. It was there I learned how to adapt and rebuild my life with a prosthetic. That journey showed me an important truth: having the right equipment is only half the battle—learning how to use it to its fullest potential is what makes the difference.

That realization planted the seed for my next mission. Today, I’m taking my experience and turning it into a way to give back—through personal training and coaching designed specifically for people with prosthetics. My goal is to empower others to move with confidence, strengthen their bodies, and embrace what’s possible.

Whether it’s rebuilding independence, training for athletic goals, or simply learning to get the most out of a prosthetic, I want to help others find the same hope and resilience that carried me forward.

This is more than fitness—it’s about freedom, strength, and possibility.
